I have heard of a much abused theory on why Nike Dunk SB and Nike Air Jordans are the series of shoes which are counterfeited endlessly. I am amazed as to how these will advertence the copy cats, although, prima facie, it looks so.

It airs that the only motivation for forgers is the demand and supply theory. I thought it was true initially for a few seconds. But before getting any closer to drawing a conclusion on this, I would request you to examine it in detail. As a buff, a fancier and a marketing consultant for Nike Dunk SB for all these years, I have to really differ from this theory even though it has some likelihood of reality.

Firstly, articulating that poor supplying of products leaves fertile demand is not applicable to premium products such as sneakers, automobiles and watches and so on. Insult to the Renowned Sneakers
Putting forward half baked theories only mean insulting the legendary sneaker brand which makes the dreams of millions of fans. The argument goes on to negate the reality that because of exciting designs and colors the shoe brand enjoys the most enduring demand which is in addition to the definite quality you get in return. Agreed, short supply by Nike is partly deliberate but the demand is not due to this. Let us get it straight, fans driving miles together daring cold and standing in line waiting for stores to open is only because of the demonstrated popularity and this is the only reality.
