And when the sun rules high in the sky, the beautiful snowy terrain simply begs to be conquered. There are several tough off-slope ski runs. There are electrifying off-piste descents. And there are numerous challenging terrains. Boundaries are few and skiing is mostly freestyle.

To reach Tignes ski resort, the visitors can fly in to the nearest airport, the Chambery Airport. It is also possible to reach Tignes via the train that leaves London. But it is not recommended to drive because of the difficult roads.
