Wanting To Find Beneficial Warnings With Artificial Tree Décor?

By: Misha Vasser

Using Hanging Plants as Interior Décor

No matter the size of your house, adding hanging plants make for a great and non-invasive decorative touch. It is nice to have a good variety of plants in your home—different sizes and different placements make the whole area seem fresh and outdoorsy. Most often hanging plants get placed in a corner of the room, which is a great way to spruce up some of the more neglected, dusty areas of your house. They also do not get in anyone’s way. When hanging a plant, make sure that you are using the right materials. You will want to find a strong hook that can be adhered in some way to a ceiling beam if you are planning to hang a heavier, denser plant. There is much less to worry about if you decide to hang smaller plants with light containers. You have many choices available to you, so look around online or in gardening stores until you find something that fits your home. There are about as many artificial hanging plants as real ones, so do not feel limited in choice if you decide to have the ease of a silk plant.

Selecting the Best Container for Your Greenery

When decorating with flowers and other greenery, don’t underestimate the importance of the pot!You will want to base your pot decisions on the appearance of your greenery, considering things such as color, style, and shape. For instance, if you're thinking about a bonsai plant, you will want a small pot, preferably with a Japanese or Asian influence, and with soft earthy colors. Since bamboo plants are quite trendy right now, using metallic materials and fashionable designs works well. Make sure to do some shopping around before you settle on a design, since there are many options available to you!The size of the pot is an area where taste can overrule practicality. A gigantic pot often steals the show—which may be exactly what you want—while smaller pots give all the limelight to the greenery.

Creating Attractive Wreaths

Wreaths are one of the easiest ways to add some flair to your porch. They can be made in a variety of ways, shapes and styles. To make a basic wreath, procure some silk flowers and a foam ring from a craft store or shopping center. Take the flowers and cut off the stems about one inch from the calyx, or bottom of the flower. Insert the flowers one at a time into the foam ring. Strategically place them so that they are close enough to cover up the foam, but not so close that they look bunched or crushed. If you add a bit of glue from a hot glue gun to the base of the flowers before you push them into the ring, your wreath will be less likely to lose or shed pieces. Adding leaves or vines to your wreath works well for extra decoration or for covering up bare spots. Color coordination can be used to match the seasons, or if you like a natural look, any variety of flower colors will work. Finally, choose what part of the wreath you want on “top” and tie a string around that area so that you can hang it on the door.

Designing with Topiaries: Silk or Real

Just as in art, the way things are spaced in interior design is critical to a well-balanced appearance. When you add topiaries to the area you are enhancing, be sure there is enough “breathing room” for the plants. Remember there are many topiary sizes, shapes, and styles that you can choose from. One design that usually complements office areas involves taller, rounded plants. We also recommend that you choose a silk topiary. This way you will not have to worry about water, bugs, or plan food. These trees can also look good in homes and churches. Whether you are looking for a large tree to adorn a great empty space or a tiny plant to place on a table or desk, you will be able to find the size you are looking for with silk topiaries. Be creative in your choice of topiaries and what you use to decorate with them!
