Beer pong has been known to be the staple college party drinking game of recent years. It involves a sizeable volume of alcohol intake in a very small amount of time. The result is the very quick intoxication of almost anyone who decides to play. Consequently, this is also the reason why it has become popular among young adults.

The rules and premise of the game is extremely simple. On top of a flat table, a pyramid of cups is laid out. These are filled to the brim with an alcoholic beverage, usually beer. With a ping pong ball, players stand on opposite ends of the table and try to shoot the ball into one of the cups. If it goes in, the opposing player has to drink the contents of the cup.

All over the world this game is played although there are many variations of it. At times, the rules are modified and changed to make it more difficult or easier. Also, the props and beverage used can also differ depending on the kind of party that is being thrown.

Aside from the rules, the beer pong accessories can be modified as well. For one, the size of the cups can vary depending on how easy the participants want the game to be. Another variable that can be changed is the ping pong ball. They can make use of bigger or smaller ones depending on preference.

Sometimes though, to give it a more authentic vibe, real ping pong tables and paddles are used as beer pong accessories. They simulate the game of ping pong but have the cups scattered throughout the ping pong table. The goal however remains the same which is to get the other person drunk.

Another thing about beer pong is that it is not restricted to just college parties. They have also become beer bar accessories as it has been known to attract more customers. Because of its fun and entertaining premise, beer pong has become a phenomenon around the world. It is one of those memorable things that you always look back to as you get older.
