|

Hello,
I am sure by now you may have heard the latest trend and Buzz going around the Internet called Twitter. You may already have a twitter account and are already tweeting with people in your niche.
A little over a week ago a friend of mine Ron Davies invited me to sit in on one of his webcasts which was on using twitter to build a network of people in your niche. I was simply amazed at the amount of power twitter had for social networking. Before last week Twitter was just a buzz word to me now I am using it everyday.
When you bring article marketing into the picture and tweet your articles to your friends on twitter you can really begin to attract allot of attention to your articles. If you are using twitter and have people following you and are also following many you can use your articles to tweet and contribute quality information to them.
One main thing you want to consider when you start following people is to begin following people in your niche. As your list of followers grows, tweet an article or two now and you will be providing good information in your niche. For example you could post a tweet update like the tweet below:
"Article Marketing and SEO Methods through Publishing How To Get Traffic http://tinyurl.com/acx8t7 "
Now you are driving traffic to your article and through the links in your article you may be driving traffic to your website :--)
The key is to build a large network within your niche to get the best response to your tweets. Now how you go about building that network is another thing. There are many ways to start doing so and I will send another email out in a couple days, and will share some of my own techniques with you.

I will be adding more posts here with more information on how you can apply Twitter to your article marketing. If you have not signed up for twitter you can go through the link below to sign up and start building your network.

Paul,
Nice post!
A lot of people fail to realize that Twitter is NOT just for internet marketers.
For instance, there are tens of thousands of Twitterers out there who do nothing but post and follow information about gardening, pets, herbal supplements, finance, computers/software, health/fitness, and the list can go on forever!
If you are not using Twitter and getting targeted followers - and subsequently Tweeting your articles - then you are leaving quite a bit of money on the table!
Respectfully,

I've found tweeting my articles to be an effective way of getting more views and also giving my followers helpful information.
Besides just tweeting the article when it's published, I've found the following gets even better results:
- tweeting about the topic before I write my article
- tweeting when I'm actually writing the article. If I say I'm writing an article on.... some of my followers will ask me to let them know when it's published.
- tweet when my article is published. I can tweet about it again when I reply to those followers who showed interest in it with a link.
- I've also found that when others retweet my articles for me, those articles get a lot more attention. If you retweet other people's articles that you like, they will likely retweet yours too.
That has been my experience. I look forward to seeing what others post on this topic.
Kind regards,

Of course I tweet articles on Twitter. It is very effective in getting people's attention. Of course, Twitter is not just about marketing or else the followers would find it rather boring to follow us. I tweet something else too. _________________ Be a freelance writer and learn more at Writing Consultation. |

I keep hearing more and more about how amazing Twitter is for promotion. However, I haven't joined as yet and probably won't for a while, if ever. It just seems so time consuming. It's all I can do to write blog posts regularly, and then write and submit the odd longer article to the directories. Writing tweets as well would probably give me a nervous breakdown! _________________ Australian Article Marketing Blog

I will post my articles on my blog and then tweet the title and permalink. It works very well.

That's works too.
To get the most exposure on your article, I recommend the following.
1. Always post your article to article directories first. This helps with the duplicate content issue. Seems kind of weird because you're the author, but you don't want to get "penalized" for duplicate content.
2. Tweet the permanent link from an article directory that approves your article right away, for example, GoArticles.com. This lets your inform your followers about your article without have to wait for directories that takes a few days to review and approve (like EzineArticles).
3. Post the article on your blog (after you submit it to directoreis). You can also tweet about your new blog post.
4. Add a page on your blog that lists all your published articles. Put the title, a short summary, and link to your article. Add your articles as they get published.
5. Let EzineArticles tweet your article when they approve it.
When you tweet, not everyone on your list is going to see your tweet, so getting your article "tweeted" a few times will expose more people to your article.

Hello,
You can always create a quality post here in the forum and send tweets out linking back to your posts :--) I do on occasion. Also if you have a good post I may even tweet about it as well :--)

| If Twitter, as a social media platform is an effective way to draw in traffic to your site, then it is true that using social media is a good strategy. Thank you for affirming this. Most outsourcing providers Philippines do not use them. |
